All lots are sold under the Auctioneers' Margin Scheme, which means that no VAT is charged on the hammer price.
GRADING
Our comic lots are not officially graded (unless a CGC/CBCS/PGX slabbed item) as grading is very subjective; instead we provide a series of photographs for all lots in order for the buyer to make their own decision. If you require more information we will do our best to answer your request - please note that this service is not available for large multi-lots or job lots.
A Cents issue comic (US Price) is only highlighted if part of a lot with mixed price examples e.g. US Price & UK Price Variant.
Where noted a UK Price Variant represents a comic that is clearly printed in British Pence on the cover in place of the Cents price.
UK Cover Price denotes a comic that is priced in Cents and has an ink stamp to the cover displaying the Pence price, this stamp is usually approximately the size of a 1p piece.
Other cover or page markings (writing, ink stamps etc) are not noted separately but will usually be evidenced in the photographs accompanying the lot.
Please note, however, that our descriptions and photographs are provided purely to assist your assessment and are not a substitution for a personal inspection of the comics at our premises which is offered for all auctions - in particular due to the volume of comics that we process we cannot guarantee that all pages and coupons are present in group lots. However, whilst we try to check for these faults in single issue lots we cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions that may have been made. Items are sold as seen and it is your responsibility to ensure you are happy with their condition before bidding in the auction.
If you've got one of these and would like to sell it - please send us an email
