The Simon Archer Collection Lots 517 - 555
Lots 517 to 555 form part 2 of The Simon Archer Collection of Gerry Anderson memorabilia; Simon Archer was a professional journalist with an interest in Gerry Anderson's work - following Simon's work on the 1990's Century 21 magazine and his 'FAB Facts' book looking at 'Thunderbirds' behind the scenes, Simon was commissioned by Gerry Anderson to write his official biography. Simon amassed a huge collection of Anderson memorabilia during his lifetime including toys, comics, photographs, negatives, transparencies, story boards and props, and a significant portion of the collection was used for display purposes during Gerry Anderson's live tours and appearances during the 1990s. Following Simon's untimely death in 1993 whilst driving to visit the Andersons, his personal collection of memorabilia has been in storage with his family. They have now decided the time is right to offer the collection for sale.
